In January 2019 I will be holding an exhibition in the main hall of the Down Arts Centre.
“This wee place here.” will be an exhibition from the perspective of a post-troubles artist growing up and living in Northern Ireland. The work on display will provide an insight of life as I have perceived it; a wee bit of history and culture combined with with nature, the people, and the places. The exhibition will have a little something for everyone.
I won’t be releasing many images of the work that will be within the exhibition however now and again I will show one to give a flavour of what will be available.
This is something different than what I have produced before, and with the theme of my exhibition it is hard not to touch the politics of Northern Ireland.
Along with landscapes, animals, the exhibition will also display notable images from all cultures, politics and history.
This painting is one of a small collection of politicians that will be available to view.
